I remember 2011/2012 or so really noticing a change with it slowly taking root on Facebook - even the guitar forums you started seeing people use "trigger warning" in thread titles and such. Those in control understand that the average person really just wants to be part of the herd and they have used herd mentality and social media (which is purposely moderated to tailor the so-called approved thinking of the herd - like during Covid how anyone who spoke-out against the shots had their comments removed or was banned) to create this appearance that the majority actually thinks this way when that is far from true. These idiots just want to belong so they will parrot whatever is spoon-fed to them and begin to hate anyone who doesn't believe as they have been told to believe. What used to take years or sometimes generations to change now can be done in weeks and sometimes days, simply by using social media and these pathetic influencers that will shill anything for a few dollars.
