No volume drop in JJ mode on Friedman JJ Junior

Hi everyone!

Bought myself a Friedman JJ Junior a while ago. It sounds killer but when I switch to JJ mode there is no volume drop. In Michael Nielsen review video it seems to be a big different in volume. Do you think something wrong with my amp?

Possibly, there’s a pretty noticeable volume difference on mine when switching between BE and JBE modes. Do you hear any change in tone?

I would check the 12ax7 tube assigned to the BE channel, if there is a separate one for BE/JBE “modes”.

If you are running the gain low you might not hear it
