No way to jackson customshop

I was going to get a customshop soloist untill I got the quote back of $7000. I was one of 6 other guys that said no way to guitar asylum yesterday because of the big increase in jacksons prices and they said the same for fender costumshop as well. I could almost buy two suhr's or prs guitars for that.

And it was not that crazy of a guitar. It would have the granite finish,reverse headstock and crosses on the fretboard. It also had 2 duncans and floyd 1 volume no tone thats it.

I have him building 2 for me right now. He was Zakk Wyldes tech for awhile and has his own custom shop in Pasadena. Just a quality guy who gets it.

For real? That´s so insane that I don´t even know what to say. $7000 street for those specs boggles the mind, but I suppose they want to scale back on the amount of custom orders. Go back to 2002-2003 and that guitar would have had a list price under $4000.
