I am seriously considering selling my 1983 Kramer Pacer special because I ve realised I am not a tremolo guy! I had it blocked some months ago but since I like experimenting with various tunings, I am now looking for a Charvel San Dimas / old Charvels / BC rich gunslinger / ESP M I type of superstrat with a fixed bridge or HT. Maple fretboard would be awesome, a comfortable neck is a must, maybe single humbucker - I really dont care about the neck pickup. I mainly play rhythm and I am into 80s and 90s thrash, not the modern ultra djent stuff. The problem is that for the high end guitars my options are limited since it would cost me an arm and a leg to have a guitar shipped from the USA to Europe. My budget is about 1000 euros. Any suggestions?

Here you go:

or this, which I personally would prefer because of the choice of woods:

or neckthrough with EMG's 81/60 if you prefer:

I would rather take Ibanez to ESP/LTD in this price range, that is unless you would like a carved top - then there are plenty of LTD Horizons.
Thx for the suggestions! yeah I used to have an LTD Hetfield which I didn't like at all.

I suggest ESP or at least Prestige Ibanez (btw I have one for sale in EU :) )
Indonesian IBZ made aren't worth the money at all. Charvel is better choice and cheaper too.

Thx dude! To be honest I'd much rather go for a charvel san dimas than an Ibanez

Look for an ibanez prestige 3___ series that is hardtail. I have one but can't remember the number. Tight end bridge is really comfortable. It's HH with dimarzio TZ/AN pickups. I got mine under $500 USD used.
