hey guys, decided im going the route of a few pedals .mainly a delay ,chorus ,flanger ,808 and a tube screamer, my question is whats the best way of going about switching multiple pedals but only hitting a single button ..ive looked at the voodoo stuff ,but im uncertain if this is the way..any info is appreciated

I use a WOBO switching unit. Any combination of pedals is just one stomp away.

If ya haven't bought a tube screamer yet, don't - just get yer hands on an original BOSS OD-1, same chip...way cheaper. As for the WOBO, good call - pricey, but good call.

Peace,
V.

well if you dont have a ton of pedals this could be a good route for you.

THANKS ,IVE GOT THE PEDALS,IN THE PAST I JUST USED RACK MOUNTED STUFF,FIGUIRE ILL TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT, SIMPLE IS BETTER NOW, :D

Right, good thread as i've been looking into the same to cut out tone munching from running thru a bunch of pedals, but that WOBO thing you'r going to have to explain..

what's the 2 different parts to it?

wow ,after checking out the wobo online, that is the way to go ,i think..i really like the idea that it allows you to run infront of the amp,and thru the loop at the same time . sweeet

Glad to help.

Now keep in mind, my WOBO is not stock, it was built to order. But that's even better.

Or an SD-1. It's the same thing but with a-parralel gain circuitry.. or something. it can be modded to exact TS808 specs I believe. Very easily too. I don't think they make the OD-1 anymore so this may be a better bet if what I said above is true.

Ventura, clarify this for me?

Is that system programmable? if so where/how do you program it? If not, how do you set the combinations? Probably a stupid question.

Dip switches on each side of the switch board, just turn on the loops you want for that switch and if it will be an add-on loop or a complete preset change.

I didn't see a price on the patch bay. Any idea how much those run?

Death by Uberschall, your board gets me every time. I love it, that Hendrix/Van Halen pedal is just pure win.

Where's WOBO located?
Poland. Took about a week to get it once it shipped. Came in through the USPS.
