Like the title says... not a bad formal living room! I’m lucky, my fiancé is the singer of one of my bands and my bands and also loves music! I get practice here with 2 of my bands and one offsite.

Let’s see some of your jam pads!!

That's clean and classy bruddha
The Auralex looks like artwork.

Does it take out the boom of the wood floors?

Love it!
I took my family room and it’s my gym / computer / guitar practice room.

My shop packed, and as I am a bachelor so is every other room, with a fender amp shrine in the bedroom lol. Closets are packed with drums.

Then I have another spot with a closet holding 20+ guitars in cases and some amps and other stuff.

I will see if I can figure out how to take a panoramic pic.

Yes! I’m actually didn’t think it was going to have much impact but it really did tone down the room. The furniture and the carpets help too!

Very cool setup you got...

That said...having a Wife (in your case, Wife to-be) that supports and encourages your hobby/passion is the absolute best!

My wife, who's a good-ole country girl, LOVES some (what's now) Classic RNR; it's what we grew up on she and I. She'll text me a song now and again to learn/play.... Crue, VH, Def Lep, etc. About a year, or so, ago she called me at work to tell me about this song that i HAD to learn to play for her. She'd heard it on the Radio... it was Rock Candy    I was like, hell-yea...Montrose...i know how to play that...so i cranked up my amp that night, and whaled away for a bit. Seems Sammy did a thing with Kenny Chesney (in Cabo maybe)...anyway they played that song, and recorded it live. It gets some air-time on Kenny's XM channel.

Coolness! What are those big buttons on the switches and where do u get them?

How is noise for the neighbours? I used to have my drums in an upstairs bedroom and people would always tell me they hear them down the street or while walking their dogs.. my only concern would be people looking in seeing the gear you have. A crash and grab will get quite a bit of gear there even if an alarm is set off..
