Not Sure If This Is A Friedman?

I bought this amp about a year ago off a friend, who got it off ebay I think, and we both believed it to be a Metro kit 100 watt Superlead modded by Friedman with the Brown Eye and a C45 switch and maybe the HBE?, not quite sure. It's still got the 4 holes but only the right 2 work and they both seem to behave like a standard 2 input amp with High and Lo. The thing sounds great and I looked through the guts a bit to see what some of the magic was, I've built a few amps in the Fender vein but I've never spent much time with marshall's amp topology and was curious. But I boxed it up and have been touring with it since.

The other day I was just looking through the forum here and came across a post talking about some of the components. Dave had commented that he didn't use Sozo's or carbon comp resistors in his mods and my amp is full of both of those. So that just got me wondering if this was a "true" Friedman mod or perhaps a copy. I still love the amp either way so I'm not too terribly concerned about it because I got a pretty good deal on it i think.

There aren't any notes or anything written inside the chassis that I've seen either. Even if this isn't a real Friedman it did convince a friend of mine to send in one of his old Marshall's to get the Brown Eye! Just curious what any of you all think. Also it'd be cool in Dave could chime in. Thanks in advance.

Yeah send me a pic. There was only one amp out there that had carbon resistors and sozos. Might be hat one.

Awesome. Email sent. I talked to my buddy again who originally bought it and he knew more about it than I remembered when I bought it from him and he's pretty sure it's one of yours. Thanks again.
