So I recently dipped my toe into the world of fuzz (I hope I don't get booted off this forum). I have NEVER been interested in fuzz but lately have been wanting to do some REALLY heavy stuff ala Disfear, Entombed, etc.
Some other threads on another forum I frequent had a lot of people posting clips of the Earthquaker Devices fuzz pedals and I really liked a lot of what I heard. I then started scouring the internet for other neat fuzz pedals and found the stuff from Black Arts Technologies. I heard some VERY inspiring clips and settled on the Coven pedal. It houses both the BAT Black Forest and Pharaoh fuzz pedals.
Here are some vids I made running Gear 2 on the Splawn Quickrod. There is already a mid gain tone dialed in and I am hitting it with a fair amount of fuzz. The result, IMHO gets me 99% where I wanted to be for that Entombed sound. I know they use HM2 pedals but this thing sounds dirty, mean and evil.
Check it out.
Here's the pedal. Mine is a limited color/graphic

I am using just the Quickrod and my Gibson V, tuned to C Standard. Duncan Custom in the bridge.
