i hope so...that suks knowing that your homie can just watch you pik your play...even tho i've caught myself doin' it too. :D

OK I have to Admit that my youngest son is named Brett(yeah thats why).
I am a life long Packers fan (I still have my tattered Bart Starr biography from when I was about 9 years old).

Brett thought it was time to retire. Well we all second guess ourselves once in a while.
The Packers tried to make it about money. Bretts descision to return certainly wasn't about money. I don't think he was ever about money( did anyone see him limp out of the hospital a week after a car wreck and lead Southern Miss to a victory over Alabama?).
The dude loves to play.

My oldest son got a dvd called Favre 4ever. I challange anyone to watch it and then have anything bad to say about him.

Oh well I still love the Pack and Brett Favre. Just a fucked up situation for all Packes fans.

Now don't be bad mouthin the greatest QB ever! :gethim:

i watched him finish a game against the eagles (with reggie white) with his left arm in a sling...all he told homgren was "don't run any plays where i have to handoff with my left hand"...unfuknbelievable. who does that? he also played the better part of a season with a broken thumb on his throwing hand...are u kiddin' me? how many different starting qb's have come and gone since he started? how many qb coaches and coordinaters did he go thru and still manage some sort of success?
greg lloyd (my fave player of all time) once had a late hit on favre. favre thought it was bullshit at the time and proceeded to write lloyd a $15,000 check after the game to cover the fine. the dude IS class. the dude IS balls. the dude IS old-school tough in a way none of us have seen since the 70's.

Amen brutha!!

Not to mention how many QBs do you see lead blocking on a sweep? Let alone when they are allmost 40?

Sad to say but in this day and age he may be "the last true sports hero".

Favre has also put the Packers in an impossible situtation. A lot of people are down on him now. He told the Packers he was retiring so the Packers spent their draft picks on 2 QB's. Then Favre says he wants to come back! Are the Packers supposed to bend over everytime Brett changes his mind?

And I've seen Brett play bad in playoff games more than he's been good. If it wasn't for Desmond Howard running back a punt for a TD he might not even have 1 Superbowl ring.

In NCAA '09 each play displayed on screen was assigned to a different button, so I thought that worked pretty well. I don't remember if that's in the Madden '09 demo, but I'm sure it is.

It's not, but you can show playart for the wrong play, and I think you can bluff call, but I've not worked with it.

Playing it at 1:41 over and over doesn't allow much time to figure the game out...

Especially on D...lol - Manning drops back, lobs it over the middle, picked off...now try and play D~!

I guess that is pretty much my take on it as well. Guys like him don't come around very often. They should have let him play and trade Rodgers if they needed to.

I'm not even going to get into the whole Favre thing. I'm so fuckin sick of it....

you just did.

NOW HE'S A JET!

this is gonna be wierd.

If I quit my job and came back 6 months later hoping to jump back in exactly where I was at when I left, my employer would tell me to go suck a dick. Even though I would be far better than my newly trained/hired replacement, it just wouldn't happen and I wouldn't expect it to. Would I be let back into the company, definitely, but likely in some other capacity. Business is business. Bottom line.

I will not dis Favre other than his flip floppin', mind changin' crap. I won't dis him for some of his not so great playing, even though some of was bad, even horrid. He did too many great things to mudsling his playing.
