Just received the Creation Audio Labs Holy Fire

On my way downstairs to plug it into my Marshall Vintage Modern. Interested to see how a 48v pedal behaves and how it plays with my Creation Audio Labs Mk4.23 (which by the way is an amazing clean boost)

Yeah!!!

seems to me you really like creation audio labs products !
review it for us !

The Mk.4:23Pro is the BEST boost on the planet.

Glad you're diggin' the HF...

Mo

mk 4:23 is pretty awesome ...just watched some videos

What do you think of it so far?

It's not a usual run of the mill pedal IMHO. I own both the Holy Fire and Mk 4.23 and they are killer pedals IMO.

The boost is the best boost around and the the HF is so transparent you can set it for unity gain and with the GD knobs at zero there is no tonal change. I test drove it last week to a mate who is a real pedal buff and he was really surprised how good it sounded. I aped all of his Analogueman King of Tone sounds pretty damn closely but with a little more warmth/bass.

I love it for a kinda dirty boost, bluesy harmonic cleans and a nice low/mid gain pushed sound. It does a awesome fuzz as well if you push D past 2pm. It's got loads of boost potential as well and has great dynamics...volume roll off is pretty amazing compared to many other revered pedals.

With the 48v you can really push it hard with a boost...it's meant to be able to take 30db or something silly of boost before it.

It doesn't get much love but it's one of my favourite pedals (the other is the Mk 4.23).

Ya, Sarge and co. have come up with some really good stuff. Considering how closely the work with Michael Wagener, it's no wonder. He's produced some of the best guitar tones of all time imho.
