Look what just arrived!

Absolutely stunning pedal. The finish and knobs on this are perfect.

Hard to convey through photos just how nice this looks, let alone the quality feel in the hands.

Cannot wait to fire it up after work.

Many, many thanks for Wayne for just being the absolute MAN and giving me the pedal for winning the naming contest!!

I could not help myself and had to plug in and play it for a bit.

Whoa.

Crazy versatile.

This is a whole different animal....

No offense but ....
Head and shoulders above my other Super Drive...

Compared to a Boss, it isn't even in the same category......

This pedal is absolutely amazing.

The metallic finishes don't show up for crap on my camera or anybody elses it seems ... just doesn't convey in a digital pic ...

this is something I should have done a while ago ...... it's a total no brainer for anyone that likes the SD-1 .... plus people that might not like the SD-1

you change the clipping frequency and the diode layout ... you practically have a totally different pedal ...

or you can rock it stock

I was getting some straight gorgeous fuzz tone territory going on with some quick dialing and did not expect this to be capable of that kind of thing at all.

Kudos!

that's basically my thought process ..... to build a better mousetrap
Your are doing it brother. I can't imagine not having the bass knob on the front of that VBF Deluxe, makes dialing things in so much easier. Someone might say "just adjust your amp EQ" but I have the bass all the way off and that control seems to allow me to fine tune how much drive/fuzziness the lower frequencies are getting. I like to keep them cleaner/tighter. Such a killer boots, I can't wait to let it rip again tomorrow night.

What will it do different compared to the Griffin Super Drive? More tweaking of the low end frequencies?

The frequency and clipping knobs are cooler than expected .

Each setting interacts with one another in interesting ways.

Yes, the frequency allows tailoring of the low end but it shapes the whole spectrum for sure in a way. Like it focuses on a certain part rather than just thin or add bass.

@griff10672 this be a question for you as far as all it exactly does differently.

I feel like I use the Super drive primarily into an already driven circuit and would never really use it into a crispy clean environment. With this pedal, I can get tones that are suitable on a clean channel alone, which is surprising.

Unsure of all of the clipping options and stuff, though I feel it was posted somewhere.
