NPD koko boost reloaded

Hey guys just received the koko boost reloaded! It's hard to say how cool it is just yet... I played it through my 5150iii with my warping loaded start and it was just way to much even on the blue channell. My suhr modern satin will be coming back from suhr soon so we will see how thre blue ch sound with this and ssh+ pickup. By the way suhr pickups especially the ssh+ in the modern satin is one of these sounds I have ever gotten out of a guitar! I will have to make a ngd for my satin modern when I get it back. So far I am liking the far left switch on the mid boost and I think I will like the middle switch with my modern. I I will say that the mid a is really subtle hopefully it works better with lower output clearer pickups. Not suhr if it's going to knock my Maxon 808 off my board but it's a great addition. The build quality and overall appearance is as good if not better than my strymon pedals!

Just to add to this... Do yours think I should use the buffer on this if my ISP decimator g string is buffer bypassed or should I leave it in true bypass?

I have both version 1 and the reloaded. It seems that my old koko boost has a lower resonance or deeper in its tone when set similarly to the reloaded version in green mode but I have also found that even with exact pedals from other manufacturers that they can sound different due to different parts tolerances or specs etc. I think it's unavoidable and acceptable. The older koko of mine has less gain at the same setting. The reloaded was meant to replace my older model but I prefer the version one for rythm on the green channel and the reloaded for solos on the red channel as it seems to be a tad more vocal and versatile for solo voicing compared to the original koko boost. I think they are both worth keeping!!!!!!

I have em both. The Reloaded is a bit thicker in the low mids, not as spikey on the high end, with more boost available on the clean side. The one switch is easy to get used to, but I like the two switches better. I like the sound of the Reloaded, layout of the original.

This is relevant to my interest as I just bought my first boost - VFE Ice Scream, but I am also looking to try out the Maxon OD808X or the Koko Reloaded. These would be for my SPlawn Quick Rod.

Any chance you could post a clip/vid sometime in the foreseeable future?

Nice! I actually posted this vid in my "Recommend a boost for my Quick Rod" thread! Sounds great. Would love to hear it hitting the front of a higher gain setting on the amp itself.

Yes, there is an internal dip switch for buffer/true bypass. I use it as my buffer first thing before the input of my amp.

It tightens it up and adds as much boost as you could ever want. I love this pedal.
I'm hitting the Fargen and a Fryette Sig:X with it right now. Sends both into heavy, sustainy awesomeness.
I'll see about making a quick video. I have two rooms to lay floor in on my next days off. My music room is a wreck, and I probably won't get to it until I get the flooring down.

A heads up, I'll probably be unloading a Koko soon, since I have both, the original and reloaded. I don't need two. I have both of the Riots, as well, and will sell one or both in the near future. Don't really need a dirt pedal with either amp.

Cool!! So with one pedal you buy two pedal!! In this way when the pedal is in bypass it prevents signal loss of the other pedals after it in the chain!!
