If you're into RAT pedal gain, buy it. Turbo mode is a bit louder on the volume side, but this is true with an authentic Turbo RAT as well. I can't say I'm pleased about the offset graphics, but the tone is sick! RAT + Crowther Hotcake is said to be something special. I haven't tried this yet, but I will. $80.00 shipped, so I can't bitch. Switch is high quality. Quiet too.

An exacting circuit and component replica of a vintage 1985 "Whiteface" RAT. This classic LM308N-based unit is the one most experts point to as representing the best this classic line of distortions had to offer. The only addition to the original 1985 circuit is the inclusion of a switch allowing you to choose between the vintage classic mode and the newer RAT2/Turbo clipping modes.

Okay, this pedal sounds insanely great! The 'turbo' has a more open, less compressed sound vs the 'classic' mode. I'm hitting it with a TS808 to add some mids to my attack. The level of distortion that this pedal is capable of is insane!

I'm 2-for-2 this week! Next, is the 68 Pedals "King Of Clone". Should be here by the end of next week.
