Just got this pedal from a friend in Germany. I thought it was going to be good but its really exceeded my expectations.

Basically its a souped up tube screamer and TC Integrated Preamp in one pedal. I bought the fortin blade with high hopes and really could only had a small window of usefulness. The blue channel does the 33/Grind thing without the weird nasally tone or the anemic "you need to be tuned to drop Z" sound.

The Green channel is like a Maxon OD808 but I don't know it just sounds like one on steroids. I would try to do some clips but he sent me a few pedals to ship to some guys that can do a better job than me(Jerevil, Shawn Davis, etc).

Anyway this has actually replaced my Maxon OD808 and my VFE standout. After the week I had last week finally getting to play guitar last night this made it that much nicer.

Yeah its a friends company. He was talking about some plans for products and typically I take these with a grain of salt. Then he started sending me clips and telling me how he was going to do it. Then he started sending me pics and clips of the prototypes. Fast forward a couple months later and he sent one to me then a few to some other guys(Jerevil and Shawn Davis so far). I knew it was going to be good but it actually turned out better than I expected. I have a KSR Orthos which is a pretty tight amp in of itself so a lot of boost that people love leave me underwhelmed and I stick to the Maxon or the Standout. This one just hits the right spots for me. Ive tested it with my Orthos, mesa mark iv, and my Ceriatone Molecular and it does everything I need. The fact that it takes the same amount of space as a typical overdrive was really a plus as well. You have one button that bypasses it and the button on the left changes between the green channel and blue channel.

bwgintegra I hope you dig it man. I just sold my Maxon OD808 and my VFE is up for sale now and last week I was planning on trying to buy a second standout. If Im being honest with myself Im usually a hater when it comes to someone I know doing something like this.

I think it comes to like $130 USD not sure what the shipping is. I sent one to a guy in the KSR group on FB to try and he really dug it then ended up buying it(he typically was using the Direwolf).

Looks like a cool pedal. My only issue is that the user is “stuck” with the frequencies the builder chose. This is why I love the VFE Dragon. It’s a tube screamer at heart, but the user gets to choose the frequencies. Had they included the high and low pass filters I’d probably jump on it.

All of this said, I have Pepers’ working on a custom pedal for me based off of the TC integrated preamp. Basically I wanted to be able to switch between two different settings. One more extreme and one more full and less cut.

I want to compare the Direwolf to the Ghoul Screamer. I think the GS is one of the best OD's I have ever tried.
