After some TLC, (deep cleaning, wax, fret polish, fretboard conditioning), and a set up, it plays beautifully! It's just under 10lbs., so it's got some a little heft. It's a 25" scale, and the neck profile is wide/fat, but there's nothing fat about it. It's just right, VERY comfortable. Action is so low, you gotta bend over to play it.

Only gripe - the #7's aren't floating my boat. I got a PRS adjustable wraptail coming for it, and I'm in deep thought about what pickups to throw in. A Duncan Custom in the bridge has been a go-to, but I may try something different, since my LP has a Custom/Pearly Gates. I May go with Distortions, or JB/'59??

It's a pretty sick top, for sure!

Seymour Duncan Eric Steckel “Candy” pickups.

These are actually great pickups! I have tried just about every pickup out there and these hang with the best of them. I guess they are replicas of some PAFS Steckel found in a 60 Burst
