Well technically it was yesterday, but all I had a chance to do was put them in the cab. Had to take the day off today to wait for a new fridge delivery so that gave me a chance to crank it up while I waited.
For those that don't know Weber makes everything to order and runs 7-10 business days to make. I ordered directly from Weber on 10/23. They shipped 11/8 and arrived today. I had asked them do do a break in period before they shipped them out, so that took a few extra days. These are 100 watt, 8 ohm, heavy dope, and standard dust cap.
These went in my Egnater Vengeance 412 with the Grey Wolfs on top & Silver Wolfs on the bottom. Back when I got the Silver Wolfs I tried them out with the set of Grey Wolfs that are in my 212/115 cab. So I already new I'd like that mix. Now I finally got around to getting Grey Wolfs to permanently pair with the Silver Wolfs. The cab sounds so full. The Grey wolfs take care of the upper mids and Silver Wolfs cover the lower mids.
I was also able to switch back and forth between this and my 212/115 (Grey Wolf/Blue Dog) cab to finally compare them side by side. Shit.... I don't know which one I like better, they both sound great, but different. The Grey Wolf/Silver Wolf is upper mid grind + lower mid crunch. The 212/115 is cutting upper mid grind with extra low end thump and high end chime.
