So I got these Redback's from Kyle when I ordered my KSR Gemini. The cab is my V-Boutique Euro 212 which is effectively the same cab as the Bogner oversized 212. This has a convertible back so it can be open or closed. Anyway, I had been using a V30/H30 combo which sounded GREAT with the Henning, really good with the Gemini and Friedman.
Well I got these guys loaded this morning FINALLY and horee sheet! They are YUGE! Similar to my Creambacks tonally, maybe a little more neutrally balanced as Tom would say but the bottom end is massive without being boomy or tubby. I'll try and get some vids done showing these. I got them installed and wired up this morning and fired up the Gemini just to make sure they were installed ok... and then proceeded to make myself an hour late for work! LOL!

412 with Redbacks and V30s is awesome.Thinking about a 4x12 with Redbacks. Can't decide between a mix of V30's and Redbacks, a full quad or H75's and Redbacks. Any users have any suggestions?
I’d go with Redbacks/V30’s. I don’t care for the H75 at all. Very unpleasing presence/top end on those. If you prefer brighter amps and want to go H75, I’d proceed with caution.Thinking about a 4x12 with Redbacks. Can't decide between a mix of V30's and Redbacks, a full quad or H75's and Redbacks. Interesting. I like EVH GB’s a lot. Very wide db difference between those two. RB = 100db versus EVH GB = 96db. In theory that would seem too much of a difference as in this case you’d think the RB would drown out the EVH GB. But I know even though the RB is 100db, it’s more even mids render it not as perceivably loud as other 100db, like the V30. I like mixing RB with G12-65’s. Both compliment each other’s frequencies very well, imho.I have Redback mixed with G12EVH in my Engl 212, so far my favorite combination.
Yes, that's true, they have different sensitivity. But, as the Redback is a little bit sterile, EVH adds life, or color to the sound, so together they sound pretty good (at least to my ears). Especially I like it with Engls, also Randall Satan sounds very nice through this combo. I liked also combination of Redback with Alnico Cream.Interesting. I like EVH GB’s a lot.
