NSD: J75s!

FedEx just showed up and brought in a quad of new Scumback J75s! I've put them in my Bogner 4x12 and so far, they're everything they're made out to be! Awesome "M" type midrange, but more exaggerated highs and lows for a more aggressive sound. I decided to break these in myself (no FBI), so it will be a little while before I know exactly what to make of them, but so far I know they're INCREDIBLE for distortion - and the more the better - though cleans / light distortion is a little stiff. Again, no FBI, so I'm sure they'll open up after some hours on them.

In short, anyone looking for speaker similar to the M series but more aggressive will be in ecstasy over these things!

Yeah man, agree!! Have them in my 212 and they rock, but mine are broken it. Sound fabulous with the lighter stuff........I'm sure yours will too when you get some volume/time on them. I love these!!!

Cool, glad you're diggin them. I actually liked the M and H speakers better in Pete's shootout vid, but the Large Dust Cap J75 sounded really good. I'm sure it's different in person though. Congrats!

Cool! Ill have two J75-LHDC in a StoneAge 2x12 cab to go with my Mod50...I hope to have a warmer more creamier lead tone than with the Gflex.
