I remember going to see Extreme when they were still an opening act around 1990-ish. All I knew of them at the time was "More Than Words" because it was all over MTV, etc.. I remember thinking "man, these guys suck!", thinking they were some kind of acoustic "lovey, dovey" band.. Well, I couldn't tell you who the main act was that night (maybe Winger 
), but I remember Extreme. Holy Cow! They opened with "Get the Funk Out" and never looked back. Immediately went out and bought Pornograffitti and have been a Nuno fan ever since.

Not a fan of Extreme either but it was always apparent that he is an insanely good player. Just next level good and crazy talented.
