Always loved the riffs, arrangements and the technical playing with that funky swing that Nuno has. The songs except for a few I could take or leave but it was always the catchy guitar playing and amp tone that caught my ears.:2thumbsup:

imagine Badlands if they had brought Nuno in to share duties with Jake.
or Ray Gillan singing those Pornographitti tracks...
There’d of been a great fight!!!! Odds on Nuno… but it’d be tight… two little finger nail bitches cat fighting.

I could see Ray Gillen singing some Extreme tunes but the styles are completely different. Badlands was more blues oriented and Jake was loose and darker with his playing while Nuno's style has this upbeat pop swing to it kinda like EVH had.

I don't think their two styles would have complimented each other but I could be completely wrong.:dunno:

I didn’t watch that but my guess was always a yin/yang thing. One hand black, one white

The tone on Punchline is just sick as tits. The Mourning Widows stuff is sweet as well. Very raw sounding.

Arguably his best tone and I think he should’ve stuck with it. It was perfect for his style. Lower gain, articulate, thumpy and percussive.

Never knew much about Nuno.
Had Pornagraffiti, gave it away.
Had to learn More Than Words for the girls back in the day.
This rendition caught my attention, and gave me some respect for Nuno.
Steven Tyler and Nuno have good chem, almost Simon n Garfunkel level. I dig it:

Everything you wanted to know about why he paints his nails but didn't gaf enough to ask.

Timestamped.

ok you kinda lessened my disdain for Nuno’s nails with that explanation.🤣

not because he did it as a tribute to Freddy and Steve, but because it helps him see the patterns his fingers play more clearly which actually makes sense.

that was cooler than the original.

I thought Extreme was a great band until I saw them live, the singer and how he presented himself and the music was sickening. He’s doing it and I’m not so it’s obviously ok for enough people. Nuno was killing it but the house mix was like the singer so it lasted about 40 minutes for me
