Big congrats! One of my friends had the same thing done converting his ‘56 Gold Top LP to a ‘59 LP Burst. He sold a real ‘59 burst had because of it. I’ve played that guitar many times

Next time you're in Nashville you'll have to bring it with you, so she can meet her twin sister. They even share the same serial number!!! lol...

That is beautiful !

Wow, you’re right they are the same! ?
All around great tones. While the bridge pickup is stellar, that neck pickups is perfection
Yeah, the neck was shocking to me. It’s so clear and zero mud. Never know what you’re going to get with these but I lucked out on that one.

Here’s a ‘58 burst, a ‘57 GT, and an early 60s 335 all with PAFs compared back to back to back. I know what I prefer but they’re all good.

That gold top neck pickup is like mine. It's magical. Sounds as clear as a bridge almost. Seems to me it may be an A5 mag in that one. Never will know because I'm not removing the cover, but they used A2, A4, A5, whatever back then. I prefer A5 for the clarity.

That GT neck was the standout to me too. Perfection.

Did you see the ‘59 Lester at Gruhns video I posted? Apparently you can remove a bottom screw and see the bobbin color really easy. If that even matters.

Yeah I watched that one. Cool video.

I actually did that on the neck when I got it. I was told it was double black when I bought it. Most 1958’s are all black. It’s really easy to see the bobbins through those holes.

I had gotten an OG 50’s PAF cover for the bridge when I bought it. I put it on tonight. Can’t decide which way I like better.

I’m a double cream guy normally but in this case I think I am surprising my self and liking the covers. Not sure why. I went back and looked at all the pics and I am voting for the covers.

Congratulations. Sonic bliss. I think I need to check out some PAF style pickups.

I keep repeating your YouTube clip. Sounds so good, man. I read on your YouTube video that you're using a 4x12 cab with Greenback / V30’s. Are you running them in an X pattern? Did you mic both speakers or just one, aaaaaand what the speaker cab?

You made that Marshall scream. One of the best Marshall mods I've heard!
