Finally found something I been trying to hunt down for years.....1967 Fender Bassman 50 watt head.........There are so many different configurations of this amp it took some research to figure out which one I as looking for.........I had tried a shitload of them and the right one showed up.........Main thing besides a clean example of course was the bass channel voicing was usable with a six string.......Many I tried were too muddy, reason is I wanted to be able to jump channels ala Jtm's and be using the whole amp........This amp has got some beautiful overtones.....Starts getting dirty around three on both sides and compresses nicely....Very responsive to pick attack but cleans up sweet with guitar volume.........The power gain is nice but a tad loose untill you get to six on the volume but every od I have tightened it right up, three button Plexitone was (Beast Boston Accent) Wicked Awesome!!!! I am going to gig with it tomorrow so I am looking forward to hearing how it cuts.......My guess is it will cut well, going to run a 1960B with 200w EVM's & cel. GL Anniversaries........Should get me there.......
