I thought that at first, but every now and then a similar type movie seems to sneak through the censors.

Team America World Police was brutal in it's put downs of basically everyone. Almost makes Saddles look tame.
Dogma was even more brutal in its treatment of the Christian religion.
Undercover Brother and Oh Brother Where Art Thou were a couple others.
