If you took the time to dial them in they could be made to sound identical...

It still takes a backseat to the HT-Dual, but it's a solid pedal, WELL worth the money.

Yeah, the Timmy and the Cool Cat Transparent Overdrive are supposed to be close, but I think the OCD and the Cool Cat Drive are closer....

I think they made a version 2 that doesn't sound like the OCD. So if you grab one looking for a poor man's OCD, make sure it's version 1.

I really like both my V1 TOD and CO-1, but have recently shelved them in favor of a MRX GT-OD.
I just couldn't keep them in my chain after I realized how much noise they added to my signal.
