Hmmmm....for some reason I was under the assumption the Fortin mods had tons of gain on tap and had no need to be boosted. I mean at least thats what everyone has been saying, is that off base?? So they can't really take you into metall territory without getting all flabby? I say buy an old school MESA and throw the OD back in the closet

No need to boost the Fortin Evil Pumpkin at all. It is metal as all fuck as is.  This is specifically for my stock '77 JMP 2203.

Well, what I use is a TC Electronic Booster/Line Driver. IT turns any JMP into a firebreathing high gainer.

Everybody - It is hard to reply to all the suggestions but I have definitely looked into all of them and really appreciate the heads up on each one. Learned about a few pedals that I had never heard of and found some not mentioned here while researching some that were. There are a shitload of boosts/ods out there and this kind of thread is cool to have for reference.

I have my work cut out for me.

I've been through a TON of pedals...and nothing sounds better to my ears than my stock MIJ SD1. It just kills through my JCM800

Yeah I was wondering about that, I heard that clip and I'm sitting here wondering what in gods name did you need a boost for   The Evil Pumpkin is a beast for sure  After reading the post I though maybe you boosted it in the vid? I dunno. Well, that explains it then, carry on

The Bloody Murder is the best I have found. It doesn't cut the bass and has no mid hump with the brown Burr chip. It beats the crap out of my Analogman SD-1 for boosting. I did not like the OCD V4 for boosting. I have tried various pedals. Some expensive ones also. I would like to try out a Roccaforte boost. I hear those are excellent. Phatgirl on HC swears by it and she is definitely a Metal player. The SD-1 colored the tone too much and added a mid spike.
My Roccaforte linear boost is the shizzle!

I have been using a ZW OD to boost my JMP and It does the job. However, theres not much low end IMO. When I had a recto, I used an OCD, Bad Monkey and a Full drive but I liked the OCD the best.

Lots of forumite here like using a MIJ SD1. I haven't used it but would like to try one too.

OCD is a great boost.

or any regular old tubescreamer....most of these high priced exotic pedals with fancy names are nothing more than a tubescreamer with tweaks and usually full of unnecessary bass frequencies.
You need high priced exotic pickups to get those high priced exotic pedals to sound right...preferably through a high priced exotic amp. :D

EXACTLY! Pretty much every other pedal I've owned has added way too much bass

Yeah, not looking for added bass just wanted something to not cut the inherent bass as much as my trusty old TS9. I played around more with the BB pre and actually had it sounding great today.

I do have an OCD coming so I will check that out as well.

Get the Timmy, it's tunable to the curve you want and has some switching options inside to tweak the response of the pedal.
