OD100 SE+ Effects Loop Question

I guess this applies to any of the OD line. I noticed at one setting you can use the loop level like a master. Do you use it this way or take the loop out of the loop? If you do use this as an additional master/gain stage, where do you prefer to keep it set?

Hey Jeff.. I currently own the PT100(up for sale shortly unfortunately).. I do use the Fx loop return as Master volume... I normally run my channel masters between 4-6 depending on which channel ..that warms up the tubes nice and gets the amp 'breathing'. I then use the loop return as master and normally have that set around 2 or so depending on venue and how loud I want stage volume. Hope that helps you bro

Thank you. I did some experimenting since I posted this and I agree that it sounds better with the channel masters up a bit, using the loop as the overall master. I'm digging the tone through Scumback M75s.
