OD9 Pro Plus sounds terrible. Help?

If the battery doesn't work out, try calling Maxon maybe? Or maybe LordsOvChaos or one of the pedal cats can take a look at it.

I emailed the dude I got it from so I'll wait and see what he says. If it's broken I'll just get my money back and if it's actually supposed to sound like this I'll just sell it.

Mega, have you checked to be sure the voltage and milliamps on the AC adapter are giving the pedal what it needs? Not all adapters are created equal. Just because the connector fits, and it's 9v doesn't mean it's compatible.

Just tried the pedal with a brand new 9V Duracel battery and it sounds exactly the same. I guess this thing just doesn't have nearly as strong of a clean boost as the OD808.
