1932 when my dad "Fred Gerlach" lived with Huddie during a four year collaboration..

Here's the joke with Jimi Page, beyond pathetic . . .

re . . .

Compare . . . there is none next to the . . .

Man zeppelin killed it on that song. So much better than the original.

Still with this Shit?!?!?!? Get over it already Gerlach aka King Crimson.

Your granddad's lucking ol' Huddie didn't carve 'em up with a switchblade. Is that Al Jolson singing in the second clip? Your right, Led Zeppelin fleshed out that tune brilliently. That interminable, ants in the pants, folksy approach was always maddening.

Your Dad wasn't the only one Led Zep ripped off so don't feel so special.

If you write original music, at some point you are going to come up with something that has already been done. I fail to see your point here.

Me or the OP? Led Zep blatantly ripped off other artists for much of their first album. The tunes just don't sound like them, it's pretty damm obvious what they did. How Many More Times is basically a cover tune.

There are too many plagiarism examples in blues to count. Not sure why this is even discussed anymore.
