What do sellers have 24 hrs to reply. That’s kinda old stuff. I think it should be 12 hours at the most. People have email access 24/7

Especially with international sellers/buyers. World's bigger than the USA y'know?

I think part of what is wrong with the world today is expecting people to be available and connected 24/7. I think 24 hours is reasonable. You also don’t know how many emails the seller is getting on their item.

Pretty much this. 24 hours is pretty fair. Life happens. Work. Job. School etc.

Thats logical. I only sell in the US and only buy from US. I made a offer on a neck last week and the seller Never responded. During that time another neck popped up , but I couldn’t buy it because I had a offer on the other. By the time the 24hrs was up it was gone. I know that don’t happen much.

I’m bitching about it, but I’m doing the same thing to someone right now.

People get sick/go out of town/ called into work/have emergencies all kinda stuff.
I literally am seeing someone talking about getting ripped off almost everyday.
To make that worse my city is the worst for porch pirates when stuff is delivered as well.
I always meet deliveries when possible.
Frankly Reverb & Ebay for selling is not attractive to me.
I have many options locally on my own.
But im a buyer on those venues.
The ripoff schemes are off the hook and need some Legislation to deal with that effectively.

Last time I made an offer on ebay it gave me the option of 12 or 24 hours. I chose 12 and the seller accepted almost immediately.
