Oh look, another tranny school shooter. In Canada

Can you predict when a mentally unsound idiot is going to snap?

That is the issue. Mental-cases walking the streets like ticking timebombs.
Exactly. The gun laws aren't addressing the core issue and therefore aren't actually preventing shootings. At best gun laws are like sticking a band-aid on an massive wound. It might make it look like something is being done to help, but actually it's pretty ineffective.

I don't understand the whataboutism here, but okay. I can't think of a single person rejoicing in the death of children on either side of the border. Paying mind to the "holier than thou" idiots is on individuals, not entire nations. I have a significant amount of family in the area, and lived in Fort St John for quite a while, spent quite a bit of time there hunting/fishing and playing sports. This just sucks. It is unfortunately a rather rough area, but not something that ever braces you for a mass shooting at a school. Man...

And clearly draconian gun laws don’t work.
Absolutely not. The newest reform is "justified" because of a guy who had 0 legally owned weapons. It's almost as if someone capable of this shit, oh, doesn't care about laws anyways? I love this country, I fucking hate our stance on guns though.

Please explain how this is true. Curious on your perspective.

Would the teachers armed with pistols on their hips make more sense?
Canada has draconian gun laws. Tranny still managed to kill 7 innocent children and 2 others. Please explain to me how it isn't true ?

And if the teachers were armed, at a minimum the damage could have been much less.

Aren’t these mass shooters typically had been on psychiatric drugs? Combined with wrong sex hormones and yeah, that creates a ticking time bomb for sure.
Sounds like there was a history of interventions due to mental issues and self harm intent, with the shooter.

They killed their mother and step brother at home apparently before going to the school.

Not getting your point my friend?

You can own guns here. I have a bunch.
So you're pretending your gun laws haven't changed dramatically and are perfectly okay ? You own any ARs ? What about short barreled semi automatic shotguns ? What is your idea of "A bunch" ?

You can own some guns. A lot fewer types than you could 20 years ago. And if you're still holding, the grace period is about over. You either register them or become a criminal. And after this shooting don't be surprised when the government response is more gun laws that only affect law abiding Canadians.

I can own as many guns as I please. I have enough for what I need ( with exception if GAS for a nice 12 guage).

I do not have assault rifles.

I do not have short barreled semiauto shotguns. Although, I am very tempted to add a 12 guage to my collection.

You can own handguns you do a restricted weapons course and then you can buy them.

Edit: I don't think many people feel the need to carry concealed weapons here in Canada, I know many Americans that feel they must.

I agree our system isn't perfect. Don't know of any that is.

Many Americans also feel they shouldn't be forced to pay the government to have their personal information added to a database in order to simply own a gun.

I never said there was a limit on how many guns you can own, rather there is a limit on what type of guns you can own. There are also a bunch of ridiculous rules you must follow, including registration and storage laws. None of which have ever prevented a crime.

Not entirely correct.

I agree the laws only apply to honest citizens. The criminals are using stolen guns or guns smuggled in from the USA.

If you didn't own your handgun before October 2022, this is no longer true. That handgun may never again leave your possession for any reason other than it's destruction by police, either. There isn't a regular citizen of Canada who may legally purchase a hand gun ever again as of October 2022.
