I love the Great River. It's my "go-to" vocal pre and or course it gets plenty of use on guitar and bass. Still deciding if I like it on snare or kick more. Truthfully I'd rather have a bunch of API's for drums, which I'll have this summer.

I don't mind the Twin Trak, in fact I can get a pretty good kick sound out of it. The resale value is crap on the platinum series, you're right, just i just keep it around for a rainy day. It has its uses. I'd sooner use my Presonus pres though.

I'm gonna snag the 3124 next since I only have two spaces left in my lunchbox. I'm thinking of filling those with a Shadow Hills Mono Gama and an A Designs P1. If a deal pops up on a Purple Biz or Atlas Juggernaut I wouldn't be opposed to either!
