Was supposed to pick up a beat up, but stock, jcm900 1960b locally for 300, but i had to cancel because i woke up with back spasms so bad i can't even get out of bed. I'm typing this on my microsoft surface, horizontally, with ice packs. Is this a sign that i should spend my money on a cabclone ir+ or something similar instead? :( i'm only 38 goddamn it!!

I have a bad back and found that posture is under-rated. I used to fall asleep on the couch in some krangly position and then wrench my back the next day pulling a gallon of milk out of the fridge. Gee, I wonder why?

Not saying it applies to you but wanted to mention it just in case.

I bet the seller thinks you're full of shit

That sucks man; hope you feel better soon!

Yes Bro welcome to the club. My Chiropractor always preaches ice.
Im back in the gym this year after 6 years off. It has helped.
I was an NFL trianer in da 80's been in gyms 45 years.
What im finding at age 60 is my muscles can move poundage of days gone by but my joints & ligiments are 60 years old and can't support the heavy weights anymore. Easy does it.
Full squats on the smith machine have helped a ton.
This is why most Pro athletes are retired in their upper 30's.

I’m your age and the pains are becoming more everyday and last two weeks instead of two days lol

Just had rotator cuff surgery on Friday. Recovery sucks!

Terrified looking at the four 4X12 cabs I have stacked in the music room.

I will be 50 in March.
Bodybuilding much of my 20's-30's.
Early April I began to have excruciating pinched nerve type pain in my neck, back, shoulders, arm and hands.
Herniated disk that turned completely to bone.
7/7/21-Disectomy and fusion c6-c7 (ACDF)
8/3//21 -Laminectomy and foramanomity c6-c7 (this is where they remove lots of bone and bone spurs going in behind neck that they couldn't get from the front).
10/29/21- Carpal Tunnel release surgery both hands.

I am still not 100% pain free. maybe 75% fuckin sucks!. Going back to pain mgmt dr next week. Neurosurgeon and hand surgeon don't want to deal until months go by.

I ice up my back and shoulder or shoulders most every night. works wonders, but such a pain in the winter.

Hope you get better soon and can snag that 412 cab.

yeah I'm 52 and go to the gym regularly. what hurts the most are my joints and tendons, my muscles seem to recover normally.

The aging process is chock-full of surprises.

I want a new 4x12, but I can't GIVE away the one I have, even loaded with English Greenbacks. Had it as low as $399, and all I got was offers of $180. Fuckheads on CL.

It took me nearly 1 year to sell a near mint 1987 Marshall Silver Jubilee 4x12 cabinet. I eventually let it go for $300.00 and box of strings. Nobody wants a 4x12 these days. Guitars are getting just as difficult to unload.

the problem with 412s is shipping, really lowers your market. Would like another 412, but not actively shopping for one by any means. Sad part about 412s these days is that it’s about better to just sell the drivers and give away the empty box for whatever you can get.

These days...

Les Pauls. Bad Back. Great tone.

Whenever I feel my back or shoulders going that way, I eliminate pillows when I sleep and it goes away again after a day or so. Sleeping straight helps.

ouch... that sucks. i feel that though... my arthritis acts up whenever i carry anything heavy. can barely move my fingers. all about the line 6 HX into a FRFR. Couldn't be happier!
