Oh the irony... i had to pull out of a local deal for a marshall 1960b because i'm having back spasms.

My Friedman 1x12 sounds great with my Friedman Small Box head. They are both easy to carry.
I just picked up a second Cube for my mini stack. I needed something closer to my ears, and I like them better than a 2-12 for more options.

Yup....as we get older, the body begins to tell you "screw off...you aren't doing that today". As pointed out, it is the joints that get weaker.
I've had back issues over the years but I manage it with a lot of stretching.
I have learned though that if I can take gear that is much lighter, I'm way better off.
I'd love to have the full 100W head and 412 but that isn't happening anymore.

Just had rotator cuff surgery on Friday. Recovery sucks!

Terrified looking at the four 4X12 cabs I have stacked in the music room.
Next month my second shoulder!
In the past I had surgery on elbows, knee, both hands carpal tunnel and multiple trigger fingers. And last year three injections in my back. Yes, bodybuilding is a healthy sport.

Lifted 4-5 days a week until 45. Had both knees replaced (bilateral) at 47. Started to lift less and less; wife finally made me see a doc about my back. His response; “What pain meds do you want?” Lol. Apparently it’s bad. Well, I still have to work so minimal meds. But, decided to get back into lifting and (have a home Wieder ‘rack’ with free weights) other than some joint pain, at 54 I’m able to get my bench back to ‘almost’ where it was 10 years ago. But no squats just dead’s…less back stress.
Still have 6 4x12s but not gigging so they are stationary.

thats when i'd tell him "ROXY 30'S BABY!" and then sell them out of my back door. Take advantage of that lazy ass doctor, and you'll have gear money to burn! i am from detroit you know....lots of hustlers everywhere. :p
