I have a brunetti 2x12 cab and I am running 8ohlms.
The vh4 say 1x8ohlms and 2x8ohlms, does 2x8 mean 2 8ohlms speakers and 1x8 mean 1 8olms speaker?

match the amp to cab ie: 1x8 ohlm amp to 1x8 ohlm cab

Plug the cab into the 1x8 ohms jack on the VH4--you're solid.

To visualize, think the output connectors as "columns": 16 Ohm, 8 Ohms and 4 Ohms.

If your Brunetti is 8 Ohm, plug it into 8 Ohm output (either one in the middle "column").

As 2 x 8 Ohm = 4 Ohm load, if you would have one 8 Ohm 'Brunet' and one 8 Ohm 'Blond' and you want to plug them in simultaneously you should use 4 Ohm output.

Please come back in case still uncertain.
