im trying to get my tourmaster combo to work with both my cabs, or, when needed just one cab and the combo speakers.
first off,i have two cabs. both have this plate :

both each have 4 16 ohm speakers wired from the factory to match the plates.

the tourmaster amp has a switch to set between 4/8/16

whats the best way to run the amp with those two cabs (snide remarks aside!)?

i have the cabs set in the 16ohm position, and the amp set in 8 ohm. i plugged into the jack that has the "1" below it (left/mono according to the manual for the cab) on each cab, one cable from the amp to cab 1, one cable from amp to cab 2.

basically it looks like this:

is this getting the most out of the head and cab?

according to the equation i was given.
product = 16*16 =256
sum is = 16+16 =32

256/32 = 8
sorry for the crude artwork!!

now, the combo has 2 16 ohm speakers in it. i dont know if they're parallel or series. but the ohm load from the factory was set at 8 when plugged into the combo, so im assuming 8.

how can i incorporate one of my cabs with the combo, and not blow the amp.

cab is set to 16, but can be set to 4 or 8.
combo is 8
16*8 = 128
16+8=24

128/24=5.333

set it on 4?

is my goofy math correct (im terrible with this stuff!!!)
what will yield the most powerful sounds in both scenarios (2 4x12 cabs or combo and 1 4x12, or even chaining the 4x12s hooked up together, and the combo)
thank you ahead of time!!!
