OK . . so the studio and it's entire network of hardware blew up . . .

Thanks to the Gods of Thunder and Lightning. Just to give you some idea of how crazy this made me today . . . . .

I lost the breakout box audio to all the connected PC's (DAW included) as well as the dual diplay, keyboard and mouse hardware. The only thing working was my guitar rack in the studio for cutting tracks. I basically had to pull each machine, rebuild it (from hardware scattered all over), reload it and restore from backup.
Most of the wiring was shot and had to be replaced with new cables. I had no idea if this was going to fire up after all this work. This is why I don't have guns :ROFLMAO:

Here we are 7 hours later and all but 1 PC (DOA 🤪 RIP) are up and running and I was able to do a mix for a track my vocalist sent a few days ago.

I had a lightning strike the house once and it ended up on the network cables and blew out a motherboard through the ethernet port. That was actually the least of my worries, compared to the rest of the damage.
