There is general dislike for mesa mark IV's over there. The usual arguments too, too many knobs, couldn't get a good tone, too compressed, etc.

They all seem to love Carr amps which I didn't care for the one time I tried them.

Therefore I am not taking this Carol Anne amp too seriously, I didn't even see the thread over there....

I don't either, neither would Eric Johnson , Joe Bonamassa, Dr Know or anyone else who happens to play one......and you know why......because you spelled my bloody company name wrong.......thats why....



Two years on, I can officially say you may have been mistaken, I'm still making a living from it. It's all good. No harm done or meant.

Sorry for misspelling your name. Spelling is not one of my strong suits. There always seems to be a hot amp over at TGP, I don't have time anymore to go over the latest and greatest amp, hence the comment of not taking the latest and greatest amp too seriously. I am not sure if you are tweaked are just having fun. Sarcasm is hard to type.

I am glad your company is doing well. If I ever see one of your amps in a shop, I will be sure to play one. Very few music stores in my area unfortunately.

Cheers for the derailment guys. With all respect, youtube clips of folks playing in a house where you can hear the strings acoustically over the amp doesn't really cut it with me. Sorry....... At least show clips of yourself playing in a live situation.
I want to hear your playing and tone in a musical situation, I don't care about the genre. I appreciate all styles, but I've always found guitar aerobics in front of a webcam rather lame and pointless.

Anyway, music is art and art is not a competitive sport.

I guess I should just stick in the CA area. It's just a little too anarchaic for my liking out here....lol...

Well thanks......however it's clear you don't know me. If you did, you definately wouldn't have thought like that.

Apart from building amps, I've played guitar in bands for 25 years and currently gig out 3 times a week. Basically I enjoy to shoot shit with other players and trust me , just like you probably, I like to shut down from work and socialize and that certainly doesn't always mean I want or need to pimp wares.

Why did Kurt James leave Black Sheep? To replace Yngwie in Steeler. To say that our boy fusionbear rips is putting it mildly..... though his musical tastes have certainly matured more than some of ours....... like me
