Old Deluxe Module vs D/D

Is the D/D module (as opposed to T/D) the same as the old Deluxe module?
On the Indoor Storm videos he demos separate Twin and Deluxe modules.

Is getting a D/D or T/T the same circuitry as the old modules on those videos?

Also, is the T/D module (in relationship to combining the old Twin and Deluxe modules

Twin(A) on channel 1 and Deluxe(B) on channel 2?
Maybe it's different with broader gain spectrums?

I have both the single Twin and Deluxe modules. They do sound slightly different than the newer dual versions. I like both versions. I gravitate more towards a Deluxe kind of sound over the twin. That being said, both are good sounding.

I used to own a single twin module (great sounding module) never had the dual version, so I can't give you a comparison. Later on bought the T/D and never was really happy with it , so I sent it to Jeff and had it converted to a D/D and like it much better!
