Doing spring cleaning & found 100's of them from the mid 80's till a few years ago. Are they worth anything or does anyone have interest in them ?

Funny you posted this. I have about 200 of them myself. Did some checking on ebay and it seems they go for roughly a dollar a piece when sold in a bulk lot.

I have always considered selling mine I have about 15 boxes with roughly 2 years apiece in each. Basically way too many lol

I started to go thru them and was digging up old songs and actuallly learned some new ones this past weekend.
So I might hang on to the ones that still have good tabs in them. Sell the rest.

My guitar teacher has a collection of mostly Guitar Word form the late 80s to present. Its cool having a look at the old articles from before when i was born. Seems everyone in the 80s-mid 90s had something about EVH in them

Could spend all day looking at them

I am kind of looking for guitar world/guitar one form 1984/5 to 1993. PM me and maybe we can work something out

Guitar World was horrible in the 80's. Back then it was all about Guitar for the Practicing Musician. Guitar World didn't get good until the early/mid 90's.

:) They are sitting on my front porch covered in plastic right now. Several of those / maybe 2/300 altogether everything. If you come pick them up you can have them cheap / maybe free. Shipping at this point I do not see as a option. That would cost almost what they are worth. I will not be separating them as I am moving & there is way to much other stuff to do.... .... but who knows ?

I have pretty much every Guitar for the Practicing Musician from about 84 until early 2000 also a few special Guitar Worlds thrown in. I like to look at the old gear ads. Its fun to find something that was hot shit back in the day and search it on Ebay and see what it goes for now.

I might have to dig mine out and scan the covers, see if there's any interest

I've got Guitar for the practicing musican, guitar player, guitar school, guitar one and a couple of other ones. The only ones I wouldnt sell would be my guitar worlds

I have nearly 30 years of those rags laying around. Thank god for Ipad apps so I no longer have to keep them around for tabs from now on. I wish they could back catalog these on digital medium so you could have access to them without the mess. Oh but such is just a dream.

I got 6 years worth of GP Mag, about 150 pounds, i tell myself to throw them away but i never do......i also almost never look at them after they get here either, i dunno?

I need that Guitar World from the mid-80's with Tipton and Downing on the cover that one of my buddies stole from me.

I am pretty sure I do not have that one .... Looks like most of the ones older than late 80's gone. A few I still had from the 70's.

Stephen- I'm interested.
:) I live a mile or so south of the Airport in Seatac 2 blocks off HWY99. When you thinking ?

This thread is much more popular than I would have guessed. Juggernaut and rest Ethn Hayabusa might be selling some out. I would do this for you guys but am swamped with stuff to do and want to sell bulk local.

I have tons of these things. Guitar World was always my favorite. They always focused more on the modern players...especially when the whole 80's guitar thing took off. GFTPM...way to much tab but obvioulsy alot of people dug that. First year of Guitar Shop was great. Got on the whole GP kick later on.

All are in storage right now...going to go through them sometime this summer, keep only the ones I want and get rid of the rest. If anyone is interested PM your info...when I go through them we could work something out.

I use to have the British guitar mags that are like 15 bucks a piece, had like 4 boxes of em and couldn't see wasting them so gave most to the dudes at the locals gas station who play so they could kill time at work. They were happy with em!
