Old Laney Super Group 100 watt: Any advice?

Thinking about buying one because I have been listening to too much Black Sabbath. What's a fair price? Do these amps have any gain or are they clean machines in need of od pedal or treble booster? Any help would be awsome. Thanks.

They are in the gain range of a plexi. The Klipp has more gain. I think you are looking at dropping 1500-2000.

if you're looking for that particular sound you could probably buy a gh 100 ti brand new for less than an old supergroup. the ti is his signature amp. me? i really do like my aor.. but i think i'd be more interested in a klipp.. which has more gain.
