Congrats man that guitar is a killer player and the hole is fixable in the right hands.

People pay $6k for wizards regularly on here and no one cares. Larry’s amps are even more. I rescued a killer guitar in killer condition from a collector and everyone loses their minds.

At the end of the day I got a badass LPC that checked all of my boxes and that’s all I care about.
I didn't know you got one lol I'll check it out

I thought it was a personal jab! I was like damn ?

Yeah man I rescued one from a collector and had to pay a bit above market due to its super rare condition. It’s the only one I’ve done so on so far but definitely worth it

No shit dude!!!
It’s not even a practical spot for a switch. WTF?
You could try drilling it out slightly so that it’s perfectly round, filing it with a tight fitting wood dowel, then staining it to match. Should be fairly easy to do.

That's a couple nice scores, I have been eyeballing a couple Knaggs guitars I've never played one but I've heard they are just phenomenal guitars in tone and playability! Congrats on the scores!

The Knaggs is top shelf. Same quality, tonality and playability as my Heritage Custom Core H150.

That Knaggs looks so good, beautiful top and finish!

How are you liking the BKP SS pickups? Been pondering on getting a set of those for one of my LPs.

I can’t lie, it’s kinda bothering me too. ?
I would just put a dpdt switch in there to switch out the tone pots. I have push pulls to do this on my 73 norlin lp custom and have them pulled most of the time which is no tone pot. Raises the resonant peak and gives a touch more clarity.

I think they sound great! They remind me of Seth Lover but with more bite.

Wasn't somebody on here looking at buying that Les Paul awhile back?? Sure looks familiar.

Yep. It was me. I got it on a local trade.
I got it to flip quick. I think Brent got a pretty good deal for a norlin 1976.
Definitely needed a fret job though.

If you are a Les Paul guy and you have to have a Norlin........you're gonna pay in this market!:bash:

To some... the price is absolutely worth it.......to others it is not.......That's what is great about freedom of choice!

I just happen to remember what I paid for my 1983 Pearl White LPC in 1985/86( I wanna say $700-800) and it was no where near what you guys are paying now for guitars that need to be totally reworked and re-fretted..... Having this frame of reference ruins it for me.....

Thank the Lord that I am not a Les Paul kinda guy.........Hell even the old Kramers now have stupid price tags on them... I paid $600.00 out the door with a hardshell Kramer case in 1983. Same guitar today is listed for $2500 to $3000 because it's old.............:dunno: Rock on brothers!

I do like the color of that maple top Brent... it looks like the lemondrop color?

Do you think it was originally that yellow when it was new or was more of a natural tan color that has aged yellow?

Whatever you do DON'T hit the EJECTOR switch between the TONE KNOBS!

I’m sure it was originally much lighter and much less yellow
