Old style or newer 4x12 which do you like?

The older style with the pointed edges or the newer cabs that look like standard bogner type cab? Anyone try both?

I had them both. The older style w/vertical slant baffle is a bit tighter but kind of narrow and boxy sounding. The newer classic looking cabs are super warm, sweet and fat sounding. Neither are particularly percussive or thumpy compared to more modern designed cabs like Mesa, Bogner, Diezel, Mills.
 
Thanks I'll just stick with my uberkabs and Marshall then
