81 JMP, I believe I bought it in 82 but could have been early 83.

Actually, I still have the TC distortion/OD pedal I bought, probably 81.

Here's the JMP.

hey Bob, that sounds fucking awesome!

1985 Gorilla and & DOD chorus pedal
I can't bring myself to throw it out, so it sits in the closet

Oldest gear: 1971 Marshall Superbass (owned a few years).
Longest tenured gear: 1989 Marshall JCM 800 2210 head that I got over 20 years ago. I also got a 1960A at the same time that I've had ever since as well.

would have to be a Boss SD-1 that I bought new back in 81 or 82. My next oldest is my 83 2203 that I bought used around 85-86

70 Les Paul custom,my mom and dad bought it for me in 1981/82 it was my first real guitar. It's beat and I never play it,completely stock/original.

Thanks dude... Love the amp and glad I still have it since it hols some sentimental value too because it's the amp I gigged with in the 80's.

Oldest piece of gear I have is my acoustic. A 1958 Gibson LG-O, completely original.

The 1990 Ibanez RG770 that my parents bought me for Christmas

I just had the frets plek'd and polished a few months ago

My first guitar and amp I bought in 1984: Gibson Melody Maker (only had one bridge pickup) and a Peavey Butcher head and matching 4x12. I don't have actual pics but the guitar is in my nephew's possession and the amp is in my parents storage unit in Mass.

Pre-serial # Ibanez Destroyer with a MightyMite 1300 in the bridge....made around 76 I think? I've had it about 4 yrs.

I think that my Boss TU-2 pedal tuner maybe the oldest thing that I have I bought it in late 86 or early 87 when I started playing. Ive owned older gear but thats all long gone. Most I dont miss but theres other stuff that nakes me want to kick myself every time that I think about it which thanks to you with this thread is exactly what Im doing right now..

Thanks for nothing hermano..

1996 Custom Shop Gibson Les Paul Standard in Brunswick blue sparkle with EMG's from the factory.

1967 or 68 Valco Dual Tone given to me by my g.f's Dad.
He got it for christmas in 67 or 68, he cant remember.
To bad he sanded the white paint off it probably would have looked great aged white..
Plays and stays in tune pretty good though..

My oldest gear is a Bradley Strat (sunburst) I bought from a neighbor for $25.00, a screaming bird (treble booster), a fuzz pedal a Vox Jaguar Keyboard, a silvertone amp and a borrowed Mutron that I never gave back in 1978. And I still have the Bradley and Mutron.

I have an old black Hondo II Les Paul copy with DiMarzio humbuckers, not sure of the year I got it probably late 70's early 80's. But I had the guitar before my first stompbox, this "tan" Ross R50 Distortion from 1982. I still have it with the box and the store receipt too. I recently repaired the DC jack so it works again! It sounds like a cross between a MXR Distortion+ and DOD 250 Overdrive as well it should, sharing basically the same circuit design. Not sure how rare this is but the back plate says made in Korea which is very strange because I thought all of those were painted black units. Here is a photo of my Ross Distortion:
