ADA MP-1, and some old cable I've had since around 87, works fine though.

I bought my '75 Les Paul custom when I was 19. I'm 36 now. My oldest piece of gear is a 1967 Bassman.

Oldest piece of gear that I own that I personally bought would either be my lil smokie amp, bought in 1994ish or my TS-9 bought the same year. Unfortunately I don't have my 74 Les Paul Custom that I bought in 88 for $450 anymore... I really miss that guitar.

First piece of gear I bought new was a fender rumble bass amp, hardly worth mentioning next to the classics up here :P

My 1979 LP Silverburst. My grandmother bought it for me when I was 17 (it was used at the time). I don't play it out as much nowadays because I am afraid something will happen to it. It is still my favorite guitar and it holds sentimental value because my grandma bought it for me.

Soon after I got it:

:inlove: Too cool!

Never been a gibson fan, but damn I loves me some vintage silverburst :)

1970 Martin D35. It was given to my when my wife's grandfather passed and there was no one else in the family that played guitar. One of the warmest acoustics I've ever played.

After that would probably be my Boss CE2... no clue what year it is, but it's old.

My oldest piece of gear that I still own is my first amp, a 1965 Supro Thunderbolt 1x15 jensen, original tubes in 9/10 condition. Paid $35. used from an ad in the paper.

I have an old GK guitar preamp that has a compressor and chorus in it... sounds great. I think Pink Floyd used the same model for tracking in the eighties... great sounding ss distortion.

75 JMP bought in 76
64 bassman bought 2008
78 JMP bought in 93
Ibanez RG 550 bought in 88
Beck Strat bought in 92
SRV Strat bought in 92
MIJ Strat bought in 93

1995 MIM Standard Strat. Bought it new in '95, and it was my first non-crap guitar. Still have it, still love it. SERIOUS sentimental value going on!

My 1987 JEM built by Joe Despagni. I bought it right out of his garage on Long Island lol!!!!

Pre WWII Italian hand made classical, however i cannot remember the guys name at the moment. i bought it for $20 and its worth as far as i was told by my luthier that it was in the $4k range. i have never seen such a beautiful instrument. its in a humicase buried in the depths of my studio.

My 83 Ibanez Artist AR30. Used to have a 68' bandmaster head.

I've got a '66 Maestro FZ-1a. But that's about it for old stuff. Sold off everything vintage I've owned in favor of modern equipment

I bought my Patrick Eggle Berlin Stage in 1996, it's the first guitar I used in the demo below. Solid Mahogany body, Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard, Wilkinson bridge and a pair of Seymour's (SH-2 neck, SH-14 bridge). Worst guitar I've ever owned for tuning stability the thing drives me nuts but I keep it for sentimental value.

1968 Deluxe Reverb. I can't remember when I got it, but I have had it the longest and will probably never get rid of it. It's just like the day it was bought and is 100% original.
