Wonder who picked the lettuce and tomato for that taco? Gosh! How will we ever survive if that person has been deported?
 
I don’t recall all this crying from the left when Obama deported millions. And all those politicians stoking this faux outrage are literally on video saying the very things about deporting illegals that they’re whining about now.
 
I'm putting some of the blame on business who hired illegal immigrants as well.
Yes, people who entered the country illegally shouldn't have been here in the first place. But it's also illegal for business to hire undocumented workers. These businesses gave illegal immigrants an avenue to make money and stay in the country. Without work they likely would have moved on and other's know not to come because there's no work. And of course gov't handouts to undocumented people shares blame in this whole situation as well. Basically everyone who contributed to the situation should be held accountable in some way.

Capitalism man. The profit motive drives people to take actions that benefit themselves while harming the whole of society.

Agreed. There was no outcry when he hit Chinese tires with tariffs that effectively prevented them from selling their wares here.

It has it's faults, but it's miles better than the false image of Socialism.
 
Some big contractor got paid boocoo bucks to have a crew of illegals that hardly got paid anything pick all the crops. Just like every industry the CEO got rich while the hands got poor. So don’t kid yourselves thinking that cheap labor is a thing of the past.
 
100 yrs ago it was the Italians doing the dirty work
70 yrs before that it was the Irish and Germans

the difference is they came legally and paid taxes and they learned English
my grandparents did not have any bilingual shit. It was English or get back on the boat and GTFOH

I’m not just putting it on business, but also those that rent them houses, sell them goods, etc.
