That's the plan hopefully, as long as it pulls off the tones I need to get. Then I'll buy a shockmount ATA rack and separate case for the head. Should be able to pull out my stuff tomorrow and give it a go. Did you end up grabbing that case you talked about?

Nah, went with the less back-breaking separate rack and head case. I broke down to a 4 space and ditched the 12 for now.

I think the condensate line on my air conditioner and water got into my heat/air and fried some shit. I may get interupted by my landlord or the heating and air people.

At any rate, I hooked up the 2/50/2. I ran my 100/CL line out into my processor then into the 2/50/2. It sounded great. I wanted to run my Hot Cat 30 into it, but need an ISO line out box. I bought a Suhr ISO Line out box(I know, insanely expensive for a very simple device) to use with the Hot Cat but the box doesn't work. No signal what-so-ever no matter where the line level is at. All the cables are good. If anyone can tell me how to build my own(with a line level knob) with parts I can get at Radio Shack, I'm all ears. Need it to be an outboard box as I don't wanna mod the amp chassis. You'd also have to explain in great detail, what I need...like in preschool electronics terms. Swapping pickups and wiring speaker cabs is about as electronically in depth as I get

The 2/50/2 sounded great with the VHT 100/CL going into it, but I really want to use my hot cat since its my core tone. I'll know more when I get to plug the intended amp into the 2/50/2. When I have line out box that works I'll hook the whole rig up.

I was playing insanely loud in my garage, God it felt good...its been awhile My condo neighbors gotta be hatin' me right now.

Well after 3 weeks I finally got all my shit together

Today I ran my Hot Cat 30 into the Suhr ISO/line out box into the 2/50/2. The hot cat was going into my Splawn 4x12(V30's) and the 2/50/2 went into the VHT D412 cab. Initially I felt the VHT side of things was a little on the bright side of things even with the presence all the way down. I think I just had my hot cat set a little brighter than normal though. I threw a boss graphic eq pedal in between the ISO and the 2/50/2 for shits to try and tame the highs a touch. Didn't screw with it much, just some very slight adjustments. It sounded awesome I had the garage walls shaking, the woman mad I was bein' so loud and probably a pissed off neighbor. I think the neighbor left shortly after I cranked it up

Later I put my cheap Lexicon processor in after the EQ for some wet/dry tastiness. I love playing anything clean with some big verb and delays on the wet side I didn't try wet/dry/wet as I'm not sure how to split the signal yet.

Tomorrow comes the day of hooking everything up with the Ground Control and trying out some trial test programs.

Well I had my entire rig hooked up today in my garage and had her turned up pretty damn loud, about 1/2 of my loudest stage volume -which is close to noon on the Hot cat 30. I was really impressed with the way everything sounded. The 2/50/2 sounded, well like a VHT basically, just a different preamp sound(line out of the hot cat). I think this set up will work out great, which means I can unload my 100/CL and try to get rid of the giant ATA case(2 head+12space rack). Hopefully I'll get her in a band setting within the next couple weeks to give her the final test.
