I love single Knob Boost pedals for the simplicity/Ease of use

What have you guys tried & what are the ones i should be trying?

Just an FYI....I have only tried the Randall MOR Pedal & i really like it.

I'm using the TC Electronic Spark Mini. Just works and (to my ears) doesn't color my tone. I also like the momentary switch which is quite handy for a boosted quick lick.

The only one knob pedal I have tried was the 33 and imo do not buy one.

I guess sometimes less can be more but I think I will always prefer to be able to tweak something to suit the room, guitar, cab, etc.

I completely understand. It's funny cause i have heard bad things about the 33 but never about the Grind. Everyone i know that has a grind loves it.

Suhr Koko Boost. Ok, there's two variations of boost (a mid boost and a clean/flat) but each just has one knob and I love that.

I'm considering the MXR MC401.

I've seen people say they love the 33, I just can't see how. Secretly I think they're just justifying their overpriced TC Clone :D sorry if someone is offended I kid, its all preference but I can definitely say that it was by far the worst or most disappointing pedal I ever had. For me.

You know with my Bogner the Koko is my favorite boost out of many. Very awesome but its really 2 knobs. One for the mid frequency and one for the amount of boost.

But I see what you're saying and I almost take back my previous reply lol.

I'm assuming the 33 is based on the TC Integrated Preamp? I have a TC Distortion/Booster i need to sell.

I have an Xotic EP Booster. I love it. But, I use it in front of an OD. Really fattens things up!

Just saw this posted too.

I love the idea of it as my Mother in law is a Breast Cancer Survivor but i don't need a Mid Boost.

+1......great pedal! It's my 'always' on pedal.

Another vote for the mx cae401. Simple, transparent boost, my amp has a lead channel for the really dirty stuff but the mxr gets used for my mild overdrive boost and it sounds great!

I have that boost and it's ok. I don't use it anymore. Currently I use a small 5 band with a delay as a lead boost. I think as a line boost the MXR is just fine, but as a lead boost I prefer either a suitable tube screamer type OD, an EQ or I just picked this up to try..I just like to have some control over the tone.

I keep coming back to my old EP BOOSTER.
I've stopped looking at others because the EP adds something magical that no other does.

I use the Airis Savage Boost and the CAE Line Driver/Boost

I also use the Dooner Boost Killer..............this is an awesome pedal and its pretty cheap
