I'm going to use a TRS to dual mono 1/4 plugs for my footswitch, the tip side going to my loop switcher to control clean/BE switching... the ring side will go to a single switch box (need small) for BE/HBE duty. My question is:

Is there a current limiting resistor inside the footswitch for the LED or is that built into the amp? If so, what kind of resistor is it? (excuse my laymen's terms, I'm clueless on electronics :D ).

Disaster Area is going to make the switch for me, they are asking so they can make it right the first time.

Thanks!

The led is in series with no resistor. So hot of the jack into hot of the led. Other side of led to switch and switch to ground of the jack.
