I specifically remember one of them sounding really good.

I just looked it up, the pickups im thinking of are the M22 V (neck) and m22 SD (bridge) set.

Those are freaking killer sounding and super underrated.

I think you can call in on a build and see if they're available, I think they still make many of the old Carvin pickup models.

The PolyChromeDSP plugins I have (McRockling Suite and now Nunchuck) get more use than any other gear I own: tube amps, Helix, Fractal,...

...they certainly take up much less space. Nice having all these tube amps, but when I think of the money, space and future maintenance not so nice.
