Opinions needed - fretboards without inlays

Depends on you. I don’t look at the side dots. I look at the board. I had an acoustic with no inlays and I could never get used to it. I suppose that’s from looking at the board for 20 years.

https://www.inlaystickers.com ...easy to add, I use the really small side dots as fretboard inlay dots and people can’t tell they’re not real inlays. Peel right off.

This looks like a cool way to add disappearing pyramids
Is it easy enough to remove later on?

I've had them on two guitars, both for several years. You barely feel they're there and they hold up for a long time. Peel right off without a hassle too. This one is the magnolia tree pattern:
